Senior Reassurance

Description: James Bay New Horizons' Senior Reassurance program is a no charge community service providing a familiar voice to Victoria residents who live at home alone. At a specific time each day Monday through Saturday, participants receive a check-in phone call from a trained volunteer to ensure that they are safe and well.

Should a member not respond to the call, our volunteer will call each of the contacts until the person's well-being is confirmed. Both short-term and long-term options are available. As the Senior Reassurance
