Weaving

Program Type: Activity

Description: Learn to weave on a four-shaft loom. Learn to read patterns. Create your own fabric to sew into anything you like. Or perhaps a finished project such as a scarf or place mats appeals to you. A four-shaft loom makes a great first loom. One could spend a lifetime weaving on it and still not exhaust all possibilities.

You do not need your own loom to try this great craft. There are looms available for rent, three months at a time, at a cost of $10.00 a month. A very affordable way to see if weaving is for you. If you develop a passion for weaving, we will look for a second hand loom for you. The cost is approximately $100.
