The Cook Street Village Activity Centre is a non-profit organization offering social, educational and recreational activities for persons of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds.  Membership is open to anyone 50+ years, as we cater primarily to those of “mature adult” status.

Seniors Serving Seniors

Description: The organization for seniors information in the Capital Region. Operates Senior Link - an Information Telephone Line for seniors and their families. Assists individuals to connect with community services and programs, such as recreation, housing options, home help, legal resources, transportation and more.

Open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for help connecting to seniors services.

Days: M-Th

Duration: Full Day

Additional Information: Produces and distributes 25,000 copies of the Seniors’ Services Directory every two years. Operates volunteer programs to support seniors in transition including; Senior Peer Counselling, Return to Health - social support for live-alone seniors prior to and following hospitalization
