Built in 1963 with ongoing upgrades to improve comfort and safety for our residents and staff. Space is 7600.17 square metres, wood frame construction. Three floors, each with individual gardens and green space. Three family quiet rooms, walking gardens, tranquil wheelchair accessible courtyard, hairdressing services, gift shop, and food prepared on site.
Type of Accommodation: 165 complex care facility with predominantly shared accommodation.
Cost: Residents pay up to 80% of their after-tax income which covers the cost of food and accommodation.
Special Recreational Opportunities: There is a regular schedule of monthly unit programs available to all residents. These are designed to meet different social, creative, physical, spiritual, and cognitive needs and interests of the residents. The Recreation Therapist and Rehabilitation Assistants will work with you to plan for and offer a variety of in house weekly programs / special events and community outings. The daily and monthly programs are posted on the units white boards and in each resident room.
Safety/Security Features: Sprinkler System, Telligence Nurse call system, all units have key pads at exit points. Security camera system.
