The Cook Street Village Activity Centre is a non-profit organization offering social, educational and recreational activities for persons of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Membership is open to anyone 50+ years, as we cater primarily to those of “mature adult” status.

Independent Living - Gorge View Society

Description: The Gorge View Society's mandate is to provide affordable housing for seniors who can live independently. There are now a total of 107 rental suites at Chown Place.

While the majority of the units are bachelor suites, there are also 24 one-bedroom suites. Residents are responsible for their own hydro and telephone. Each rental suite has its own kitchen and bathroom and includes appliances, drapes, cable and internet access. There is on site laundry for residents and an individual garden areas with each suite.
